1. About these Terms

Games We All Know ("we", "us") runs this website and the games on it. These Terms are the agreement between you and us for using the site. By playing a game, creating an account, or buying a plan, you agree to them.

If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Playing without an account

Every game on the site is free to play and needs no account. You can arrive, pick a game, and start.

When you play without an account, your scores and preferences are kept in your own browser rather than on our servers. Clearing your browser data clears them, and they do not follow you to another device.

3. Your account

An account is optional. If you make one, you are responsible for what happens under it, so keep your sign-in details private and let us know promptly if you think someone else has access.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live in order to hold an account or buy a plan. Accounts are for individuals; do not share yours.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@canfieldmagic.com.

4. Paid plans

Some tools on the site are only available on a paid plan. The plans, their prices, and what each one includes are listed on your Account page, and that listing is what applies at the time you buy.

Payments are handled by our payment provider, not by us. We never see or store your full card details. A plan may be a one-time purchase or a recurring subscription; the Account page says which, and a recurring plan keeps renewing until you cancel it.

You can cancel a recurring plan at any time from the billing portal linked on your Account page. Cancelling stops the next renewal; it does not refund the period you are already in.

If a purchase goes wrong, or a paid tool does not do what the plan said it would, write to support@canfieldmagic.com and we will sort it out. We will refund a purchase that we cannot make work for you.

Prices can change. A change never applies to a one-time purchase you have already made, and we will tell you before it applies to a renewal.

5. Content you add

Some tools let you add your own material to the site — text, word lists, images, and saved setups. That material stays yours.

You give us permission to store it, and to process and display it back to you, purely so the tool can do its job. We do not claim ownership of it and we do not use it to advertise.

You are responsible for what you add. Only add material you have the right to use, and do not add anything unlawful, hateful, or harmful. We may remove material that breaks this rule.

6. Playing with other people

Several games can be played with someone else through a room code or a party. Anyone holding the code can join that room, so treat a code as an invitation you are handing out and share it only with people you mean to play with.

What you do in a shared game is visible to the other people in it. Do not put anything into a shared game that you would not want those people to see.

7. Fair use of the site

While using the site, please do not:

• break the law, or use the site to harm, harass, or impersonate anyone
• try to reach accounts, data, or parts of the site that are not yours
• probe, scrape, overload, or automate the site beyond ordinary play
• take apart, copy, or resell the site or the tools on it
• work around any limit, lock, or check the site applies

8. Services we rely on

The site is built on services run by other companies: web hosting, a database, a payment provider, error monitoring, email delivery, and third-party artificial-intelligence providers that certain tools send content to in order to generate a response.

Those companies handle data on our behalf under their own terms. The Privacy Policy lists what each of them is for and what reaches them.

9. Availability and changes

We try to keep the site up and working, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. Games, tools, and plans can change or be withdrawn as the site develops.

If we withdraw something you paid for and cannot offer a fair replacement, write to us and we will refund the part you have not had the benefit of.

10. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it — that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Content produced by artificial-intelligence tools can be wrong or unsuitable. Check anything you intend to rely on.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity, arising from your use of the site.

Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12. Ending access

You can stop using the site whenever you like, and you can ask us to close your account.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, or that puts the site or other users at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the site changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when we last did.

If a change materially affects a plan you are paying for, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept it.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and the courts there will hear any dispute about them.

If a court decides any part of these Terms is invalid or cannot be applied, the rest of them still stand.
